Trip to Belgium
April 27th, 2008 Posted in After Arrival, NewsTomorrow I will leave Denmark for a week. I will go to Belgium for a small week. When I think of it, it won’t be an ordinary visit home. I won’t be at home as much as I am used to in this week. I will still speak english most of the time, and I will be a tourist in my own country. This all has a very logical reason. I will take my girlfriend Gintare with me. About a month ago I recieved an email that 1st of may there won’t be a project meeting (logical). So I had the idea that this week I won’t have to be here. Once I was talking with Gintare and I said: why don’t we visit Belgium? It is now or never… Later the exams will start and busy times will come.
The plan is obviously not to stay home for a week but to visit the cities in Belgium, like Ghent (the city of my univercity), Antwerp, Brussels, Bruges. 1st of May there will be a big Trance party in Antwerp: A State of Trance 350. A FREE party with a massive line-up: Armin van Buuren, Markus Schulz, John O’ Callaghan, Aly & Fila, Nic Chagall, M.I.K.E., DJ Shah. I am very glad that I will be able to attend this party!
We will return at sunday 4th of May to jump back into our project work and exam. It gives me already a strange feeling when I think of being home again. It’s like I leave home, to go home…
