Erasmus.Denmark.Send(”me”)

3 days to go

Last 3 days of belgian air breathing. Saturday night (from Saturday to Sunday) around 3AM I will drive to denmark. It is about 950km so i guess we’ll be there around 2PM on Sunday. My travel companion Jago will go with me, so I wont be alone in the car. Though he doesnt have a drivers license so i’ll be the one driving

We will come back around the 15th of june. But it can be a lil later

Packing things it what I am doing today and tomorrow. Kind of hard to know all the things you’ll need in 4 months of time. Yesterday I had to bring my car to the garage because the car inspection didn’t let me through the day before. My car wasn’t ok because of one small thing… the right door handle outside didn’t work. big deal… this thing has been broken for years, now my car isn’t ok because of that… So this morning I went to the inspection again and all was ok. All together this costed around 80euro.. great

2 guys and 4months of luggage, thank god i don’t have a tiny car like a fiat panda or something! My Hyundai Excel isn’t huge, but it’s quite spacy

The upcomming days will consists of shopping, packing and visiting family i guess

Money Money Money…

The danish kroner have arrived! In Denmark they have not heard about the euro, so I’ll have to recalculate every price I see. The best part is, that 1 eur = 7.5 DKK, so calculating will be… uh… fun!

Got myself 200eur worth of kroner, just to be able to pay some things in the first days. so I don’t have to run to the bank from start. I’m having my last exam of the 7 in a row tomorrow, really looking forward to that ending. Then we have 1 week holiday. A holiday that I will need for all the preparations that still have to be made before my departure to Denmark. Things like Insurance for myself and the car, My car still has to go to the garage for inspection, packing bags, buying things that I’ll be needing there, …

9 Days left is what my iGoogle countdown tells me. 200Hours to be more precise. Still counting down

12 days left

12 days, really counting them down. the exams all went quite well, still 2 left, gonna be a busy week this one. After that we have a holiday of 1 week. a free week that i will need, to pack all my bags, get the things i still need, and to get me the rest i have been waiting for in the last couple of months. I’ll leave at night, sunday monrning around 3AM we will start our journey to Herning, Denmark. If all goes well we’ll arrive there around 2PM i guess, and our buddy Esben will hopefully have the key of our tiny (well maybe not tiny, i’ll tell you about the size once i get there) flat.

Our room

Our room looks very prommissing. On this website you click on “Se billeder” (works only in IE) or 360° panorama. This ain’t the room we will stay in, but it gives a good image of how our room will look. ours has only 1 floor. We’ll be in building 95, which is a building for erasmus students only, i have recieved the list of erasmus students from our Buddy. The buddy system is great, each foreign student gets a buddy, this is a person who studies at the same university, and guides you through the school and life in Herning.

In our room we will have a 30Mbit connection Up- and Download. This, again, looks very prommising

I can’t wait to pack my bags and go to Denmark. I’m really looking forward

A new beginning

The creation of a WordPress blogg is indeed a matter of seconds, finding a good template of the design isnt, and therefore will be done later, when i find the time and energy to do this.
